Each UMC Bootcamp session is fast-paced and designed to give you an all-inclusive workout.  Each class session is under an hour and addresses the three major areas of exercise: Strength Training, Cardiovascular Exercise (Cardio), Core work, and Flexibility.  The class has a common structure.  Each session is built around 30-second intervals and contains both a warm-up and cool down stretch. 

Large muscles are worked first, ancillary muscles groups later.  Core/Abdominal and cardio worked are included throughout the workout instead of the traditional post or pre-workout inclusion.  Exercises and body parts are worked in small groupings or circuits.  The groupings are performed several times, allowing each participant to rest or modify as needed.  The workout is challenging but doable for most people.  It can include anything from weight training to bodyweight movements, from jump rope to box jumps, from sprinting to planking and is called ULTIMATE Muscle Confusion because it is unique for EVERY workout.

BTY ONLINE COURSE

As an addendum to the UMC Bootcamp, the BTY (Better Than Yesterday) course is designed to extend the coaching and mentoring relationship.  Through videos, lessons, and assignments, students gain more insight into the benefits of the UMC Training philosophy and learn key skills to health and fitness success, including what and when to eat, how to create useful habits, and ways to stay motivated.

UMC provides its standard bootcamp format to corporate clients.  Conducted on-site and designed to accommodate any space and available equipment, UMC corporate provides an affordable and efficient lunch-time or after-work exercise program as a great addendum to any corporate wellness program.

UMC has been working with athletes, young and old, for more than 20 years.  With an emphasis on cross-sport training, UMC Athletics provides Speed, Quickness, Power, and Strength training to sports groups of all ages and sizes.  Normally conducted onsite, flexible training options include one-day seminars, weekend camps, and long-term weekly or monthly sessions.

BTY “THE PROGRAM”

A lot goes into being healthy, fit, and “in-shape”.  UMC recognizes that exercise is only part of the equation.  BTY “The Program” is an online course designed to educate students on all matters necessary for health and fitness success, including nutrition, motivation, and mindset.  BTY “The Program” also provides a valuable resource for those unable to attend an in-person UMC class or session.  With workout programs, including videos, and sample diets, BTY “The Program” makes UMC accessible from anywhere and to anyone.
